Growing a Medicinal Garden

  • Canberra Environment Centre Crn Lennox Crossing & Lawson Crescent, Acton 2601 (map)

Did you know that camomile can be used to soothe colds, skin conditions and gum inflammation? Or that wormwood can relieve digestive issues and reduce inflammation from bites?

Learn about growing your own medicinal garden at home with the Australian National Botanic Garden’s Sarah Aylott. Sarah will explain the benefits of some common and not-so-common plants to both you and your garden. You’ll also learn about where to grow different medicinal plants, how to take care of them and how to use each plant.
