Permaculture is a design methodology which focuses on designing landscapes that mimic the patterns and relationships found in nature while yielding an abundance of food, fibre and energy. In contrast to industrial agriculture, land cultivation in permaculture is viewed in terms of how it relates to surrounding ecosystems. The aim is to work with, rather than against, natural cycles, patterns and processes and create genuinely sustainable agriculture.
This workshop is run by local permaculture teacher Martyn Noakes and will focus on the ethics and principles that will get you started on the road to permaculture planning and action.
Please kindly note, workshops cannot be refunded or transferred however you are welcome to pass your ticket onto another person. Thank you.
