Green bags for composting your leaves
FREE leaf bags for Canberrans! 🍂
Did you know when leaves and grass clippings wash off paved surfaces, they release nutrients into our stormwater drains, leading to toxic blue‑green algal blooms in our lakes and wetlands? 🦠
These free, reusable leaf bags make tidying up a breeze. Take one with you as you move along your nature strip, driveway and footpath, gathering fallen leaves as you go. 👩🌾
You can transfer the leaves to your compost, leaf tower, or garden beds, where you’ll make your soil happy. 🌱 Or place them in your green bin, where they’ll be mulched and composted into nutrient‑rich soil conditioners for Canberra. 🪱By collecting leaves, you’ll be helping both your garden and our waterways. Don’t forget to register!
