Passata Day

Join us in Acton Community Garden for a group passata making day. Learn how simple it is to preserve your tomatoes to be enjoyed later in pastas, soups or as a pizza topping. Bring along a clean jar with a tight fitting lid to take away your share of passata. Get inspired to get into preserving at home with our simple recipe included in the handout.

Accessibility: the event will be held in the Acton Community garden, which has wide paths and slightly uneven ground. Canberra Environment Centre has an accessibility ramp and spacious indoor area.
