Brewing Kombucha

Learn how to brew your own kombucha at home.

Have you got a taste for the tangy drink kombucha and want to learn more? Healthy, fun, simple and inexpensive to make, a batch of home-brewed kombucha is a fantastic way to introduce beneficial gut bacteria to your body.

Join us for an evening of discussing all things kombucha. Learn about gut health, and the interactions between probiotics, lacto fermentation and a healthy gut. Participants will leave with the recipes and knowledge they need to start brewing their own kombucha at home.

Tickets are $35 + booking fee.

Accessibility:

Check in CBR: On arrival, everyone must check in using the Check in CBR app, or with the help of staff if they cannot check in on their own.

Exposure locations: Please observe good hygiene and social distancing during this workshop, and do not attend if you have been feeling unwell or have been to a known exposure location.

Please note that in the event of community transmission of COVID-19 in the ACT region, the Canberra Environment Centre reserves the right to either adapt or cancel the event and refund all ticket-holders at our discretion.
