Lunchtime Meditation with Louise Baird - 6 week course

Enjoy the benefits of meditation including a calmer, clearer, more focused mind, a relaxed body, and overall sense of enhanced wellbeing as we move into winter. 

Each week we will explore a different meditation type to help find what works for you. Classes will begin with an introduction to the theme and technique for the week, you’ll then be guided through a meditation, and we’ll conclude with a short discussion at the end. You are welcome to sit on either chairs or the floor during sessions. You might like to bring a cushion and blanket for warmth and comfort. 

Both beginner and experienced meditators are welcome. The profits will go towards establishing the Canberra Environment Centre community garden. 

Your teacher, Louise, has been practicing yoga and meditation since 1997, and teaching since 2019. Based on dealing with the challenges in her own life and with so many people suffering with chronic stress she is drawn to teaching gentle, calming practices that support people find more peace in their lives.

Week 1: Friday 17th May, 1 pm to 1:45 pm
Week 2: Friday 24th May, 1 pm to 1:45 pm
Week 3: Friday 31st May, 1 pm to 1:45 pm
Week 4: Friday 7th June, 1 pm to 1:45 pm
Week 5: Friday 14th June, 1 pm to 1:45 pm
Week 6: Friday 21st June, 1 pm to 1:45 pm

Cost: $130 per person for six weeks
