Intro to Macrame: Make a Plant Hanger

  • Canberra Environment Centre Lawson Crescent Acton, ACT, 2601 (map)

Macramé is the art of using knots to turn string or cord into decorative and useful art objects. Macramé is used to make beautiful artistic pieces, it's also a very practical art form, and makes a great gift!

Local artist Annette Boyd will lead this introductory session on macramé. In this workshop, you will learn the basic knots to create your first macramé piece.

Participants will make a pot plant hanger to take home at the end of the workshop, plus the skills and confidence to continue your macrame journey!
