Are you looking for a cheaper and more sustainable way to travel to work or school in 2024? Don't know where to start?

The Canberra Environment Centre is hosting a free active travel open day on Saturday, 17th of February, from 1 to 3 pm. This is a day for people of all ages to talk to a range of community active travel experts to get your travel plans sorted!

You can map out your trip with Pedal Power, Learn how to bike with your dog or take the school bike bus with Canberra By Bike, test ride an E-Bike with See-Change, bring your bike in for a free tune up and browse through a range of Second-Life bikes at The Recyclery’s shop front.

All are welcome to come and get involved, And try before you buy!

This event is hosted by the Canberra Environment Centre and The Recyclery.

The Recyclery is a community bicycle workshop, with tools, experienced mechanics and volunteers, and an endless supply of second-hand bikes and components. Our goal is to provide a space where all Canberrans can gain new skills and share their old ones while working towards a healthier city.
